Texas administers the STAAR Science assessment at Grade 8, and TEKS-referenced science instruction in Grades 6–8 builds directly toward that assessment and toward high school Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Master the Concepts is an independent tutoring practice — not an official STAAR or Frisco ISD program. Families from Fowler Middle, Lawler Middle, Frisco High, Centennial High, Liberty High, Emerson High, and Panther Creek High are welcome in the live online class; course selection, honors or Pre-AP science sequencing, and testing logistics should be confirmed directly with a campus counselor.
Exam preparation
TEA administers STAAR Science at Grade 8, assessing how well students apply the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for science.
